Complete Dentures

Service Description

As the name indicates, complete dentures are used to replace a fully “edentulous” or toothless arch, these types of dentures can be customized to suit a patient’s unique mouth size and shape. Both tooth shade and mould will be selected based on patient and practitioner preference. A patient’s remaining oral anatomy and arch form will be used to attain retention and stability of the complete denture to the gums as no natural teeth are available to anchor the denture in place. Complete dentures not only replace the missing teeth of the arch but can also be used to fill in or enhance lost bone structure that shrank after tooth extraction by contouring the borders of the denture.
